In a version of the class taught last year, Mr. Nelson showed a slide of “The Bull,” a series of 11 lithographs of a bull that Picasso created over about a month, starting in late 1945. In the early stages, the bull has a snout, shoulder shanks and hooves, but over the iterations, those details vanish. The last image is a curvy stick figure that is still unmistakably a bull.
Great view behind the scenes of one of the things that helps keep Apple at the top of the field. Quality is something that is infused in everything you do, and when you have training like this in place, it indicates that you get that. Anyone that knows me can tell that I am a huge fan of Apple…not just for their products, but in the way that they consistently deliver a quality product and experience. Too many folks concentrate on just the product side of things, and completely forget that you should also worry about the experience as well.
Apple gets it, and that’s why they are killing it right now.
